Yes. You are not required to attend a field trip.

Yes. Sign up for the virtual conference and then sign up for the field trip(s) through Midwestix. Signing up for the virtual conference provides the opportunity to register for a field trip.

Yes, but please note that the field trip locations may be a few hours away from one another. By registering for a field trip, you are taking a spot on a very limited roster. Please be considerate of others and ONLY register for the field trip(s) you will absolutely attend.

Unfortunately, no. Please register early to ensure that you can attend the field trip of your choice.

Yes, absolutely! $10.00 is only a suggestion. If you want to help keep the Iowa Prairie Conference going strong into the future, we welcome and appreciate donations.

Yes, absolutely! We are suggesting participants donate a minimum of $10.00, but there is no required fee to attend. Please feel free to contribute whatever you're able.

Yes! We will record the conference, and post the recording on the Iowa Prairie Network website roughly two weeks after the conference.

Masks will not be required due to field trips being an outdoor activity, but participants will be expected to maintain six feet of social distance. Participants may wear a mask to suit their comfort level or if 6 feet of distance cannot be maintained.

Unfortunately, no.

If you have not used Zoom before, you will need to download the free application beforehand: Go to https://zoom.us/download and from the Download Center, click on the Download button under “Zoom Client For Meetings”. This application will automatically download when you start your first Zoom Meeting.

No. This conference is open to everyone. If you would like to be a member visit the IPN Become a Member page.

We are not offering specific programming for kids, but we would love to have them join. It is important to introduce Iowa’s landscapes to the next generation.

Unfortunately not at this time. Due to hosting this conference virtually, the logistics for that are more than we are equipped to handle.
