North American Prairie Conference Grant

COVID-19 Update
For the time being, preparations for the conference continue in hope that the COVID-19 outbreak will abate by July. The situation will continue to be evaluated as it develops, and any decision to postpone or restructure the event will be made prudently. Thank you for your understanding.

The North American Prairie Conference will gather together some of the brightest minds in prairie conservation for America’s oldest and most celebrated native grassland conference on July 20-22, 2020 in Altoona, IA. The three-day event will include sessions on topics ranging from prairie protection, restoration and stewardship to education and engagement, field trips to outstanding prairies across Iowa, and ample opportunities to connect and network with fellow prairie enthusiasts. For more information, visit the North American Prairie Conference website.

Full-ride grants for students to attend the NAPC will be offered and awarded by Iowa Prairie Network. Successful applicants will receive free, three-day registration to attend the conference (valued at $130), and free camping accommodations at Yellow Banks Park in Pleasant Hill, IA.
