Ada Hayden to be Nominated to the Iowa Women's Hall of Fame
Ada Hayden was for most of her life a preeminent scientist and promoter and protector of Iowa's remnant prairies. There is a native prairie that bears her name, as does the Herbarium at Iowa State University. She is being nominated to the Iowa Women's Hall of Fame. The Iowa Prairie Network is supporting this effort, and has sent in a letter of support for this nomination.
