I work in watercolor and graphite pencil. My subjects are plants, especially those found in Iowa. I also do birds and animals. My style is realistic, with lots of detail, textures, and strong color. I am a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, and the University of Iowa. My work has been shown at the Denver Botanic Society, the Olbrich Botanical Society, the Buffalo Museum of Art, and the New York Ochid Show, "Art in Bloom International Exhibition." I teach drawing and study botany in my studio in Iowa City, Iowa.
